New Indian restaurant to open in Sunderland
House of Punjab will specialise in Punjabi and Kashmiri cuisine but this is also where east meets west and the whole family can enjoy a meal out – whether they are a curry-lover or not – as there is a choice of pizzas on the menu alongside traditional dishes.
This family-run restaurant opens in the former Eastender bar at High Street East, Sunderland. The bar – formerly the Black Cat - was a well-known and popular spot from the 1960s to the 1980s.
The restaurant will cater for couples and groups and can offer tables for two and up to 14 – so you can enjoy a romantic dinner date or make it a fabulous family and friends gathering
Flower wall and sweet delights
Everyone loves a selfie and as part of the renovations House of Punjab has built a flower wall with a swing for all those who want to create a unique moment for their socials!
House of Punjab is about family, friends and fun and they want the venue to be a talking point in Sunderland.
